為什麼一定要是一個主的朋友，選擇了背叛耶穌？
Why did he use a kiss to show them?
為什麼猶大要用一個吻為記號
That's not what a kiss is for.
吻從來不該是這般的用途

Only a friend can betray a friend,
『背叛』二字只適用於朋友之間，

To ever cause so much pain.
使背叛顯得如此難受。
And why did there have to be a thorny crown pressed upon His head?
為什麼戴在祂頭上的，是一個由荊棘編成的冠冕？
It should have been a royal one
祂不是應該要戴上貴重的皇冠
Made of jewels and gold instead.
鑲滿了寶石與精金？
It had to be a crown of thorns,
祂的冠冕必須是充滿荊棘的，
For in this life that we live
因我們的生活不也滿是荊棘嗎？

為了那些尋找「愛」的人們
A thorn is all the world has to give.
荊棘是這個世界上唯一擁有，也必須付上的

為什麼祂註定要擔負的，竟是這般沈重的十字架？
And why did they nail His feet and hands?
他們為什麼要釘祂的手腳，是因為怕祂逃走嗎？
When his love would have held Him there.
難道那些人不知道，祂對人類的愛會支撐祂留在十架上嗎？

這些苦刑全都是一個小偷所應該受的
